Message I actually left most of the old leather on the seats, and just used the skins over the top of them. i had to pull the back/sides leather off, but the rest was a slip over.

a few tips.....

use zip ties! seriously. i started doing one seat with the hog ties, but found that the zip ties were much easier, and will hold just fine.

you'll have to take the seats apart, or at least get the back separated from the seat itself. be careful of the clips holing on all of the extra plastic parts, they can break very easilly....and if you decide to leave the old leather on, be aware that the extra padding will get in the way of the clips that hold the back of the seat to the bottom. i just cut out the leather around the dowel type rods from the old leather to re-flush that up, but do it before you slide the new skin on!

the most important tip.....take your time and don't get frustrated! it's going to take time, and you'll want them perfect when you're done, so expect to spend at least a few hours doing the job. i did it in 5 hours, but i was chillin and taking my time, they came out great.

hardness level is maybe a 5.....like i said, it was more time consuming than anything. and i think you'll like the results......
